Caring for your Finished Wood Pieces

Caring for your Finished Wood Pieces

If you've purchased or received some of my handmade finished wood pieces, I just want to take this opportunity to say a big "Thank you" for supporting my small handmade business!

For Plant Markers
Here are some simple instructions that will help ensure your new plant markers last for as long as possible.

Thirsty AF Plant Stake

I have carefully stained and sealed each piece multiple times, but the end of the stake should not be left in water or overly wet soil for extended periods of time. I recommend removing the stake when watering the plants. You can wipe off the stake with a damp cloth if desired, then simply place it back in once the soil has drained. This will help ensure your plant markers last for as long as possible!

For Napkin Rings & Other Items:
Here are some simple tips to keep your finished wood pieces looking new!

 Sunflower Napkin Rings

Do not wash with soap and water. If they need to be dusted or cleaned, simply wipe down with a damp soft cloth. This will clear away any dust buildup or other spills without damaging the finish of the wood pieces. You can use a little bit of mild detergent, but it typically isn't needed with the sealing process that I use!

Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns and I hope you enjoy your finished wooden items made by me as much as I enjoyed creating them for you!

Xoxo,
Amber
